    Default Anyone have jetskis?

Always wanted to buy them and thinking this year might be the time. I dont know much about them as far as too many hours, what to look for etc... Id probably rather buy 2 decent used ones. Always better to have 2 so me and the girlfriend or one of my buddies can go out instead of riding 2 up. Though if Im better off spending the money on 1 newer one thats not at all a problem. Its probably cheaper in the long run to insure and maintain just 1 newer one. But anyone with experience chime in with some advice.

Or I just steer clear and buy a newer street bike to replace my other one

    Been doing it since 1983...
Just like sleds.. Never go out alone.if you want the rush if speed you must but new..300 hp stock!!
    Our area sucks for skiing..boring.

Trailer south of pt.pleasant and its fun.. Can even make daytrip to atlantic city and back from pt...
Yep that's me and my wife on the Double up sleds with the kids....
10 miles with the kids are more memorable then 100 with friends!!

Ive been riding them my whole life, been around boats my whole life too. Ive just never purchased one. So i dont know how many hours is too many or how old is too old. Obviously id love a 300hp stock supercharged machine, but for 2 first machines its not needed. Espeically at 25yrs old lol. Ill be happy going out to play, but I also dont want an old purple and hot pink ski from the early 90s lol.

Yami and BRP are great.. Try to get nothing more than 80-100 hours. Just remember the wear rings{ in the pump} go at any givin time from salt water over 5 plus years old. Look for a freshwater ski..DMV of NJ changed alot.. You might need an mso and notirized bill of sale.. go to hazlet dmv and check it out before you purchase somthing you cant register......

Just got my 1978 Wetbike "built by old Arctic Cat" out of 15 years of storage . Gonna clean it up and get it running again . May sell it along with my 88 Supra , 454 power that hasn,t been in water for 10 years . The Wetbike was the most fun I ever had with my cloths on !

I got 2 255hp seadoo rxt three seater they are 09's ride them out of lavallette in the bay sometimes down to barnaget out to the ocean. The only thing that has happened so far is a bracket that holds the shock on the seat has broke on them both but that will happen when your making a turn at 60 and pushing on the seat. the ones i have have the shocks in them nice smooth ride. I run fresh water threw moters and wash salt off everything as soon as i take them out of water awesome and fast waverunner love them.
