From what we saw Bear Creek Mountain Resort did a wonderful job with their 1st ever snowmobile drag race..............
they had a 1000 foot side by side uphill drag on 'kodiak' - one of their main slopes
with well over 200 sleds registered in the event........
and I can't even guess at the number of spectators.............
if you were there you would never believe that this was the first event of this type that they have held there nor would you know that this event was put together in only a matter of a couple months time!!!!!
Some of the sponsors of this years event included: BOYESEN, Kurtz Performance, Blackmans Cycle center, SCOTT, Mike Yeager's Snap-on Tools and Rockstar Energy
We are certainly hoping that this becomes an annual event - and one that we can become involved with!!!!! It's great to have a local PA event such as this..........we can only hope for more in the future...........
sit back and enjoy a few clips from the day ............. you may even recognize a few FREAKS in the pics and vids..............

Bear Creek drags will be March 24 and 25. We plan to run the same basic format as last year. Thoughts were stock sleds sat and mod sleds on sun. Thoughts, comments, and suggestions can be brought back to me. We are hoping to have the manufactures show here as well for the weekend....last year it was the "sneak peak" event that was in allentown. With the weather were havin just gotta hope there will be snow come time for the races. Think snow
Everything is laidout on the bc website....the split in the days is in hopes that racers won't have to wait as long to race, and the day won't get as long as it did last year. Everything is a go just as long as mother nature cooperates and stays cold or gives us a bunch of the fresh stuff to work with. C-ya at the races. http://www.bcmountainresort.com/snowmobile-drag-race
unfortunatley we have to cancel for this year....we went to great lengths and worked hard to get all the snow we could to the race track but it still wasn't enough....mostly the june like weather is to blame and there is no relief in sight... mother nature hate's snowmobiliers this year.....look for us next year and thanks for all the support....Think Snow!!
