I believe you have a leak. Come on, 60 miles to a tank and gonna say REEDS will do this????
Check and see if the tank has a crack in it. OR check and see if the fuel line is seated properly w/ the clamp in the correct place.
Possibly the float bowls were NOT properly tightened also?
I had a old 89 Exciter that only got 30 miles to the tank. Ended up being the primary clutch was f****d up.
My moms 05 xc600 classis w a m-10 was getting 80 to a tank. I re-jetted( 380's), dropped needles( 1 notch) In w/ the fuel screw and LOOSENED up the track to the point of almost racheting. She now get 110-115 to a tank. 6000 miles on the sled and runs great
