2008 Switchback Crank Problems????

I have 2008 Switchback that broke the Primary end of the crank off. No vibrations, no blown belt, no signs of heating on the bearing, no oil leak by the seal and no signs of crack on the crank. Anyone know of any problems with cranks on the '08 700 Switchbacks.

that 700 motor is noted for crank failures

Sharp's Marine showed me a few last year .. He did my 800 crank, but that was in a 800 non-valve motor.
