And I thought he would be shell shocked after the Cap's threw everything they had at him in game 7....It could turn into Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after everything the Pen's hit him with tonight.

And the Flyers continue to live!!!!

Ouch, the Habs do it again....Great goaltending and team play ..Everything is going right. I did not think they would beat the Caps at home, let alone the Pens..The Montreal mystique is alive and well...

Pens forgot about TEAM play. Tough lesson they won't forget.
Bruins are in a tailspin too. Weird but intense playoffs.
SJ vs. Chi should be a good watch.

I second that....How can you not cheer these guys on now. With Cammalleri and Gionta hot they are going to be tough...& I think this Subban kid (21 today) who is mighty quick will come alive.... He has all the right stuff....and then there is the man of the entire series Halak.

I said this after the Canadains beat the Cap's...The better team won...I still think the same thing about their series against the Pen's....They just plain out played them....Even though shots on goal were lop sided in both series.

The Pens started out the season 10-1 and then went 44-40. They were only a mediocre team this year. They actually struggled all year. They lost every game to the Caps and to the Devils. They were so inconsistant, that I am actually surprised they made the playoffs, yet made it to the second round. Hats off to the Habs, great series, and Halak was unbelievable.

My thoughts for next year.....Gonchar, Leopold, Guerin, Fedotenko, and Ponikarovsky all gone! And if it were my team, I'd send Malkin packin also. Malkin has gotten lazy, only wants to play his type of game, and won't make any changes for the better of the team. Get rid of Malkin, free up some $$$, then get a couple of decent wingers!!

    Out!

    Jag,

If there was one player that really did not produce I have to say it was Malkin. It was kind of like he was just going through the motions. Don't get me wrong I think he is a great player, it seems like he plain gave up.

Forgot to add I think The Flyers- Boston game could be a wild one...My eyes will be glued to it. My wife is The Flyers fan in the house...She says Flyers 4-3.
